Terms & Conditions

Responsibilities for Rental Totes

Customers are responsible for all rental totes provided by HappyStack Moving Solutions from the time of delivery until pickup or return.

Normal wear and tear is expected. Customers will be charged for totes that are:


  • Cracked, broken, warped, or structurally damaged


  • Melted, burned, or exposed to extreme heat


  • Missing lids, pins, or hardware


  • Marked with paint, ink, permanent marker, tape residue, or excessive staining


  • Not returned, lost, or stolen


Charges will reflect the replacement cost per tote at the time of loss or damage.

Additional Charges

Damage or loss charges


In the event of additional charges following inspection, invoices for such charges are payable upon receipt.

Cleaning & Sanitation

Totes must be returned empty and free of:


  • Food waste or liquids


  • Oils, grease, chemicals, or hazardous substances


Totes requiring excessive cleaning beyond normal sanitation may be subject to a cleaning fee.

Prohibited Use

Rental totes may not be used for:


  • Hazardous, flammable, corrosive, or toxic materials


  • Wet concrete, soil, gravel, or construction debris


  • Food preparation or direct food storage


  • Transport or containment of animals or living beings


HappyStack Moving Solutions is not responsible for damage or loss to items stored inside rental totes. 

Limitation of Liability

Use of rental totes is at the customer’s own risk.


HappyStack Moving Solutions is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from:


  • Improper use


  • Overloading


  • Stacking beyond recommended limits


  • Misuse or neglect


The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless HappyStack Moving Solutions from any claims arising from use of the rental equipment.

This limitation applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Delivery & Pickup

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and clear access for delivery and pickup.


Delivery and pickup times are estimated and not guaranteed due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen conditions.


Failed deliveries or pickups due to access issues may result in additional charges.


Free delivery and pickup within Prince George city limits. Mileage fees apply for addresses outside city limits.

Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

Rental fees are non-refundable once delivery has occurred.


Cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours prior to scheduled delivery to avoid forfeiture of the reservation deposit or additional charges. 


A reservation deposit is required at the time of booking to secure delivery dates and inventory. This deposit is applied toward the total rental cost.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
